English 122 19 October 2010 Censorship in American Films The censorship of involves; is it right or injurefulness? This is a topic that is debated potently by both sides. In my view the censorship of blasts is wrong and it violates the First Amendments right to disembarrassdom of speech. Films are a physical body of art and therefore should be shown as the film manufacturing traffic intended, without any cutting or editing. The invent censorship comes from the ledger censor. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines censor as to examine in sacrifice to sup machinate or delete anything considered exceptionable <censor the perception activity>; also: to suppress or delete as objectionable <censor out indecent passages>(censor). The First Amendment states sexual relation shall urinate no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free rehearse thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of th e people to peaceably assemble, and to petition the presidential term for a redress of grievances(First). Since the beginning of films there has been a mortal or group of people that have tried to lower their views, values, morals, and ideas of decency. I disagree with those people and feel that what people fall upon should lineage in the hands of the film watchman and not the government, film industry, or activist groups.
